Children of the Kingdom is an organization that mentors youth ages 8 to age 21. Our goal is to reach, teach and motivate children and young adults that education is the key to their success. Our mission is to instill seeds of hope with biblical principles that will aid them in making wiser choices in life by avoiding drugs, alcohol, pre-teen pregency, jail and prison..
My Story
Children of the Kingdom was founded by Robert L. Shepherd Jr. He is a Poet, Evangelist and Writer of numerous gospel books (www.rlshepherdjr.com) including is personal testimony, "The Power of Grace". "The Power of Grace" is a transparent look at his life while indulging in drugs and other habits that hindered and almost destroyed his life. After his rededication to Christ, he had a great desire to help young people who are on the wrong track, as he was, as a teen and young adult. With the help of is wife and other friends and family members, Children of the Kingdom was birth. We are involved with various churches, other non profit organizations and we endeavor to encourage parents and families to Do Not Give Up on their love ones. Therefore, we offer support and directions to other sources, and business that can provide professional services for short or long term healing.
